Hi! I’m Stacey… I began keeping poultry in Kildare as a small holder in 2008. There was not alot of Irish bloggers lending their experience with keeping poultry and I decided to start the blog to share everything I’ve learnt online with others keen to enjoy this way of life. With no experience but amazing information gathered from online sites like irishfowl.com - I’ve have had my fair share of hybrids, pullets and cockerels and hard lessons in keeping poultry whilst growing organic vegetables. I also like to make vinegars, chutneys and jams and experiment with good old fashioned Irish recipes in the kitchen.
Blogs I secretly read....
